Here’s some feedback on the 7F7 tubes I just put in my R8. There is more space around the instruments, the treble is sweeter and more refined. I used a favourite test track Life’s Greatest Fool, it’s the opening track on Gene Clark’s album No Other. This track has always been plagued by sibilance, with the 7F7 tubes installed the sibilance has virtually gone, it’s a vast improvement. Cheers, Colin (UK).
