Reviewer Policy
Interested in reviewing our Kit Amps?
If you’re interested in reviewing one of our Kit or assembled amplifiers then send us a message using the contact form and we’ll get back to you. But before you contact us, please read our Reviewer policy outlined below.
Reviewer Requirements
Have an established YouTube channel or Print Media in which you regularly review audio products to a reasonably sized viewership.
Have a reputation on that channel for honesty and consistency in your reviews.
As part of your review process, you do not accept any free or subsidized products for review that you are then allowed to keep.
As part of your review process, you do not accept any form of payment or favour.
Review Process For Kits
Let’s be frank. There are a lot of product Reviewers out there that are biased by Free or steeply discounted products, quid-pro-quo type arrangements, and even direct payments from manufacturers. We aren’t interested in working with anyone reviewing products this way. If this doesn’t sound like you or your channel then keep reading.
We are in a unique position that our amplifiers come as both Kits and as professionally assembled finished units. If you’re interested in just reviewing a finished amplifier then we can ship you a review unit at our cost, with any required accessories and an assortment of the tubes to test. Once your review of the unit is finished, you will ship the amplifier back to us (or to the next reviewer) at your cost with all provided accessories and tubes.
We believe that building the kit yourself is part of the appeal, and would love for Reviewers to build our Kits and include that as part of their review.
If you want to build a Kit, please purchase the Kit in the Store at the regular retail price and we’ll loan you a number of vintage Sets of tubes for critical listening/reviewing purposes.
